| 1. This route is good for roadies as that is where it is based. It is on a mix of road types, and some good climbs are invloved, especially as you go up Long Way Bank from the A6, then Porter Lane, B5035, up to Middleton and also Gratton. If you are not a good hill climber leave this ride well alone or allow yourself PLENTY of time starting at say 6 or 7am. Lots of wonderful scenery, especially if its a sunny day!! |
