1. A cycle along reasonably traffic free country roads. The first half is mainly uphill through pretty countryside, a mixture of woodland and rolling fields through the village of Knapp.
After Knapp there is a steep climb of 1/2 mile before dropping down to Abernyte. After a gentle incline it is then downhill into the small village of Kinnaird.
From there on the route is along country roads through fairly flat countryside, past Castle Huntly (an open prison) and then a gentle incline back into Longforgan. |
