| 1. This is a fairly flat, good, easy road ride around Mersea Island that is suitable for road or mountain bikers. It is mainly on country and suburban roads. From West Mersea you head out to East Mersea. You then retrace your route and head for The Strood. Turn left intto the Colchester Road (B1025) and head back towards West Mersea. From the High Street head out Firs Road and ride around the Coast Road. Head back up the High Street and back to the start. | |
