1. Nice flat ride to start the day. Past Brayton Barff on road then a bit of canal path riding then through Selby over the Old Toll Bridge through Barlby then utilising a fair bit of the NCN Route 65 through Riccall, Esckrick and Naburn to Bishopthorpe then taking you through the Knavesmire and along the river into York city centre.

See the Solar System while on the NCN route 65, trip through Yorks Knavesmire race course and travel along the river crossing the millenium bridge to get you into York city centre where there are a multitude of sight seeing opportunities. Plenty of bike shops when you're in York including Halfords, Bob Trotters, York Cycleworks and Cycle Heaven.
