1. A really enjoyable experience for any average/experienced road cyclist. The route offers an interesting mixture of busy "A" roads and scenic country roads, passing through beautiful historic towns like Belper, Cromford and Bakewell. It is advisable, and much more enjoyable, to cycle early on a Sunday morning, to avoid busy traffic on the "A" roads and to enjoy the scenery. Although there are a few testing drags/inclines, they do not spoil the overall enjoyment of the ride. | |

Belper town is an ideal place to refuel and there is an excellent choice of cafes and ideal midway stop at Bakewell.
