1. 30 miles start from fillongley village or anyw here on this circular route you can do it in reverse order if you wish. The climb up thru bentley woods is about a mile and the climb towards the end up from maxstoke priory is in fact a RTTC hill clim course 1.5 miles not steep but still hard. Be careful on the fast descent on the narrow roads after the hill out of maxstoke blind bends and gravel. When fit i've done this route in 1hr 30mins. Still there are some good vantage ponts to see the North warks country side especially along the road called Twenty One Oaks (I'm not sure if there are 21 I'm normally battered by that point)
Landmarks/Sites to see?
You can call in at Middleton hall cafe open Thurs-Sunday if you turn right at the island towards Kingsbury water park go past park through Bodymoor Heath turn right at T junction, cafe is 2 miles down the road on the right hand side. Also there is a post office in hurley village on the corner and a little shop in Fillongley which is like arkwrights from open all hours
