Cycle Steps
1. Starting Point shown is Point 2 of Fife Kingdom Route cycle map. The Tesco is nearby. Follow signs for cycle route through Townhill and minor roads to meet with B916. Turn right at B914 followed by a quick left to take you up the hills through Blairadam Forest. (There are forest routes within the forest, although I have not tried them). Carry on uphill and you are rewarded with a good downhill section to Cleish Mill. Turn right at bottom of hill, followed by left at junction to B9097. Follow route signs to Kinross through minor roads. At Kinross, follow the main road A922 to Milnathort. The road can be quite busy, however it is a short section. At the roundabout in Milnathort, take right turn. After around 0.5 mile, just outside village, take left turn. Pass over M90 and follow minor road through Drunzie and Duncrievie to Glenfarg. At bottom of hill in Glenfarg, turn sharp right at junction. Follow this road back over the M90 to meet the junction with A91. Turn right onto A91 (busy fast road) and quick left onto B919. Follow road for around 1mile until you see signs again for the Kingdom cycle route. Follow the route to bypass Milnathort (using mixture of minor roads and off-road) tracks until you reach Kinross again (A922). Turn left onto B966 and follow road through Kinross to Kelty. Road can have fast traffic on it, so care required. At Kelty, turn right, up Kelty main street and left at roundabout onto B917. At roundabout at bottom of hill, take right onto B912. Fairly long hill up to Kingseat. As you aproach the far end of the village, take left minor road down steep hill to Halbeath, and across level crossing (with barriers). At roundabout, take left on A907, then right at next large roundabout (above Juction 3 of M90). Follow urban roads back to start.
