Cycle Steps
1. This route has three significant climbs, the first takes you past Ivinghoe beacon and lasts for two miles. From here it remains level before the descent from Ringshall to Dagnal. Leaving Dagnall is a steady climb on a quiet lane. After a short flat area at the top its downhill again towards Little Gaddesden. But be warned, once across the main road at the bottom, it's onto the final climb. Once at the top you're on fairly level ground again, through the Ashridge Estate. The quaint village of Aldbury is accessed down a very fast section, but beware of the final bend. Once out of Aldbury, it's a short trip to the Grand Union Canal for the final stretch back to Long Marston
