| 1. Mostly level progress, much along the Fylde Coast utilising cycleways on the promenade. From Lytham, the route swings out into the Fylde countryside with a few generally easy inclines amidst farmland and small villages. Passing Singleton, the route turns towards Fleetwood, passing through Thornton on the way. Passing through Fleetwood the route follows the coast again, with a short loop around Rossall before joining the promenade again north Cleveleys from which it is a seaside ride back towards Blackpool's North Pier. |
