| 1. Take the ferry across to Rothesay, then cycle across the Island of Bute, to take another ferry back across to the mainland. Cycle to Dunoon, and take a ferry back to Gourock, then round the coast to Wemyss Bay. Yet to cycle this route, but I imagine the scenery will be spectacular. Check out Calmac and Western Ferries for ferry times and fares. Calmac operate the routes to Bute, and Western Ferries operate the route from Dunoon to Gourock. Though Calmac also have a Dunoon to Gourock route, it would involve extra cycling, and they charge for taking bikes. |
