| Mainly off road cycle paths with a few gradients, but generally flat. Beware the enthusiastic cyclists you may encounter. More suited for off road mountain bikes due to the terrain. Nice path to keep away from the busy roads. | |

| I must say that this was a most enjoyable cycle route through the hertfordshire countryside. A pleasant route for those starting out in their cycling careers. However, I feel it is my duty to warn people of the overly competitive old man who can be found cycling at around 11am heading from hertford. His tactics leave a lot to be desired and he attempts to intimidate you off the track. I also advise people to wear glasses or a michael jackson face mask as there are many flies on this route which can get in your eyes or mouth. Excellent route, will go again. | ||

| Have done this cycle journey many times now and i can safely say it is not 10miles. max 6miles, but very good fun | ||
