Starting from the Tay Road Bridge car park in Fife, this route heads west following one of the Kingdom of Fife Cycle Paths (well signed) to Balmerino.

The route continues South however we missed the odd sign and ended up in Cupar. From here follow the St Andrews road, but turn right towards Dairsie Mains. This then joins another signed route to St Andrews via Strathkinness.

Once in St Andrews, join the NCN ROUTE 1 (well signed) through Guardbridge, Leuchars, Tentsmuir, Tayport, and back to the car park.
