Cycle Steps
This is a road route, on a mix of A, B and country roads, with a possible stop for breakfast in Audlem, at the cafe opposite the church.
The route initially goes past Thistleberry Parkway, across the A525 roundabout, and on till the B5044 junction. Turn left onto the B5044, then left into Mill Street to go through the centre of Silverdale.
Rejoin the B5044 at the other side of Silverdale and follow this as it takes a sharp left. Turn left, off the B5044, onto Quarry Bank Road, and follow this over the A525 and into Keele.
At the Keele Road junction, turn left and then turn right off keele Road onto Three Mile Lane. Follow this across the M6 motorway and on until just after the fishing water on the left. Take the next turn right.
Follow this road past the farmhouse on the right and take the next left towards Whitmore Heath. Just before Witmore Heath turn right onto Snape Hall Road. Follow this as it turns sharp left and goes on till the A53 junction.
Turn right onto the A53 and follow this through Baldwins Gate. At the next crossroads turn left, off the 53 and onto Woodside.
Follow Woodside till the A51 junction and turn right. Follow the A51 towards Blackbrook, but before it meets the A53, turn left onto Wharmadine Lane. Follow this towards Ashley, turning left at the Church Road junction. Follow Church Road through Ashley and continue to follow the road to Ashley Heath.
Go across the A53 and onto Mucklestone Wood Lane and skirt round the edge of Ashley Heath to the B5026 junction.
Turn right onto the B5026 and follow this to Mucklestone. In Mucklestone turn left, off the B5026, and follow this road to the B5415 junction.
Turn right onto the B5415 and follow this until the Napley turn off on the left. Turn off the B5415 onto the Napley Road and go through Norton in Hales and out on the Bellaport Road. Follow this up through Kinsey Heath and on till the A525 junction.
Turn right onto the A525 and follow this into Audlem and round to the cafe opposite the church.
Retrace your ride back along the A525, but turn left onto Salford Road and left again onto Heathfield Road. Follow this to the A529 junction.
Turn right onto the A529 and follow this through Hankelow and on to the Hunsterson turn off on the right. Turn right onto Bridgewater Lane and follow the country roads through Hunterson, Bridgemere and Checkley to Wrinehill.
At Wrinehill turn right onto the A531 and follow this under the M6 and into Madeley Heath.
In Madeley Heath turn left onto the A525 and follow this to the roundabout at Thistleberry Parkway. Turn right onto Gallowstree Lane and follow your initial route out back to the start point.
