| A circular tour that I call the Two pits trail taking in Shirebrook and Sherwood pit tip which both have pretty good viewing points from the top. Stop off about half way round at Market Warsop for a bite to eat. The trail is mostly non roadway apart from the little bit athe the beginning and at Warsop Vale to Shirebrook pit tip. Sherwood tip is the higher climb the the view far outweighs the effort. | |
