This is a good route for sprint cyclists, a neat 13.7 miles of road that will test your bike handling, hill sprinting and concentration! It starts gentle at first with a downhill warm-up but soon after there are a series of hills with different inclines. Just as you've gotten over them there is a fairly long, steep climb up a country lane. The rest of the race is made up of gentle ups and downs. You re-enter Leighton on a long slope before finishing with a final climb!
