Join the route at the top of Ladderedge. The route takes you past Rudyard Lake and on to Tittesworth Reservoir. Here is the first major climb, to the top of Gun Hill. The best bit is coming back down again where you then head up towards the Roaches. With a few steep climbs here it can be challenging. There's now a gradual climb up to the top of Morridge and then down to the Ashbourne Road where you head into Cheddleton. From here you join the country roads and head back into Leek via Sutherland Road. At the end of the ride this hill can be difficult. Appox 29mi. | |
