Cycle Steps
A not particularly difficult route but some of the hills are quite demanding, especially between Underbarrow and Crook. The route only strays on to a main road along the A6. Head south from Kendal to Natland, go through Sedgwick. Head up towards Sizergh and then toward Levens. Take the Brigsteer junction and continue through to Underbarrow. From Underbarrow head to Crook, then to Staveley. From Staveley take the scenic route to Skelsmergh, then follow the A6 back to the Duke of Cumberland.
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
Duke of Cumberland, Wheelbase in Staveley, Brucies in Kendal, Wilf's Cafe in Staveley, Various other pubs in most of the villages mentioned.
