County Wexford is located in the south east of Ireland in the Leinster province. Origionally founded by Vikings, there is evidence of Neolithic habitation from portal tombs found in Ballybrittas on Bree Hill and at Newbawn. The area relies mainly on agriculture and fishing for it's economy. There are a number of interesting places to visit including 5 castles.
