| A circular route starting & finishing at Hougham / Marston. Encompasses some nice flat long straights to start with and a fairly long steepening climb from Barkston up to Hough On the Hill. The decent from Gelston back down to the Stragglethorpe Lane can be a lot of fun, but it's quick, extremely narrow & very technical - BE CAUTIOUS! One of my fellow cyclists hit gravel on a tight bend, locked up, & was lucky to head off deep into a bramble bush rather than a tree! |
