| A hard route with quite a few hills but not too tiresome, and ending up with a great long journey. Be careful cycling on the A38, busiest part of the route. Plenty of places to stop, Highbridge, Axbridge and Congresbury. | |

| Map ends in Taunton, not Exeter (cycled in reverse). Works for me as I go on to Honiton from here. | ||

| Good long stretches with v little traffic; climbs here and there but of course what goes up must . . . . Mileage given in description obviously wrong - it's over 80, not 43 ! Thanks | ||
