A great 29 mile ride in figure of 8 to or from Exeter City Centre. Many villages to see along the way including the picturesque and historic village of Topsham, then onto Woodbury Common with extensive views both inland and seaward. Join the newly opened section of National Cycle route 2 along the eastern bank of the Exeter Estuary (Estuary Trail)

A new cycle path has now opened linking the outskirts of Topsham to the Lympston Cycle Path. It avoids all of the A376 Exmouth Road and follows the railway line instead. Join the path just before Darts Farm on the right hand side. Following the railway line also makes it much flatter too.
