| My daily commute. Although the A24 is a major through-route - it is generally quite wide (although the Tooting-Balham section is pretty traffic-heavy). The A24 is pretty much a straight line and it's hard to find convenient quiet alternatives. You can divert off into Nonsuch park for a couple of miles after Ewell if you wish. Can be nice, but a bit slower. This route takes you over Lambeth Bridge, which is one of the quieter bridges across the Thames. |
