Cycle Steps
This is a road route, mainly on country roads, but with small sections of A and B roads. There is also an optional small off road section to get to Leith Hill Tower. There are some punchy climbs, and some great views, on this circuit around the Surrey Hills southwest of Dorking. There is also a great run down Coldharbour Lane into Dorking at the end.

You always get a rough idea about the degree of difficulty by the number of other riders you see on a pleasant summer afternoon. I can report 1 sighting in a whole 3 hours.

The climb up Leith Hill was real tough and I had to walk on a few occasions. Road signs were a bit invisible at times. On the positive great little villages with all their tennis courts and swimming pools. How the other half live eh?

overall this is for serious riders. There are very few hills where I come from..!
