Thank you for taking the time and trouble to post, but it appeared not very informative until I ‘accidentally' found that you can enlarge the map and get greater detail.

I think it would be nice if you could insert a photo where exactly you start the route at Morrisons in Chorlton. I have been looking for a circular route to take from Chorlton to Gorton via the canal to the city then the return leg to Chorlton via Hulme-ish. So this helps a great deal towards that goal. Thank you.

Return via Bridgewater canal then across to Chorlton. I do this circular route from Sale to Chorlton, Ashton Canal then Bridgewater Canal back to Sale. It's about 99% off road.

Really enjoyed this - I cycle to get around, not normally for exercise, but I can't run at the moment and thought I'd try this out.

Tips for people trying the route - the way down onto the cycle path in Chorlton is on the opposite side of the road to Morrisons, next to a car garage.
