Starting at John Lewis, off the A34 Bypass, this is a mainly flat, road route on a mix of roads, with some short sharp hills. The overall difficulty, however, is no more than a middle of the road 5. The route is either a double loop or figure of eight, dependant on how you ride it, and takes in Wilmslow, Macclesfield, Tytherington and Mottram. You can also stop for a nice coffee at Mottram Hall. |

Good ride, tried this one today. Unfortunately for me i didn't look at the forecast and got soaked. Also I don't know Macc that well so lost my way a few times there. The descent into Alderly edge is scary with wet wheels!!! Hope you don't mind but i added this to my Endomondo routes and set it as public. Peace. | ||
