| The route makes good use of cycle paths, the occasional alleyway and rural back roads. There are a few hills to get your heart pumping but nothing too drastic. The route back from Darenth follows the line of the old A2 which is now a landscaped cyclepath. Nice and wide - it uses the old road surface. Google maps has yet to catch up - trust me though it's there! | |

| very good route hills got the heart rate up but the countryside take your mind of the effort. Made a stop at Bluewater as it's on route plus you can stop at shorne country park for refeshments if needed. All in all a good route started at Brompton not Maidstone rd as shown. | ||
