This is a pleasant ride that is undulating, but not too much.
There is no need for a mountain bike as it is mainly on country or B roads. There is an initial stretch on the A1198, before the turn off for Bassingbourn and a small piece of A505 before the turn off for Therfield.
It is around 35 miles, so it is a long afternoon's cycle.
