Using the B9102 for a short distance you''re soon onto quiet single track roads that are perfect for an enjoyable short cycle. The woods at Tomvaich and the open moorland at Castle Grant make for a fantastic backdrop to this excellent little cycle of just over 15km.

Finishing on the A939 will mean a few more cars but mainly down hill will give the legs a good rest. A generally easy ride other than the hill back up towards Grantown after Lower Deraid, which I think makes it a solid 4.
