'Without training - 30 miles without difficulty '

I'm sure with training you can achieve one of the challenges.

The c2c is quite hilly - so coast & castles may be better

I had a go at the southern leg of coast & castles last year on a mtb but could have got way with a hybrid. Only did one day though(100 miles)
- cannot comment on second leg.

I did Birmingham to London on canal so Leeds to Liverpool will be the roughly the same - mixture of surfaces and if it has been raining it can get quite grueling through the mud & wet grass - the scenery on canals isn't the best either.
