Joined: 11 Aug 2021 Posts: 14 Bike: My Profile | A traditional court marriage is simply a civil wedding conducted under the laws of the land, however a number of legal amendments were made to the law of marriage in India in the past twenty years. A court marriage is performed within a short period of time after the approval of the law by the courts in the state and is therefore quite new in comparison to the earlier marriages which took place in the 16th century when the Court Marriage in Delhi was introduced. A customary Court Marriage is conducted according to the customs and traditions of that region, but by modern standards, today's Court Marriage is quite different to the Court Marriage in the country.
