Shoes for a new starter

Joined: 10 Mar 2015 Posts: 6 Bike: | I am a 56 year old new starter to cycling, a bit late I know, I bought my bike from Halfords (were most people start) I was thinking of changine my pedals to clip ins and buying some shoes, but I have heard a few horror stories from 1 or 2 cyclists I know. I was just wondering if I could tap into the sites members knowledge of the subject and where could or should I start. |

Joined: 27 Feb 2015 Posts: 1 Bike: | Been cycling about 4 years now and have just bought first spd pedals about 6 months ago they do take a bit of getting used to and you will fall off at some point but its all part of the learning process,would recommend spd shimano 520 pedals they are relatively cheap and if its not for u then just change back to normal. |
