Can anyone recommend a starter 'event'

 Joined: 25 Jul 2012 Posts: 23 Bike: My Profile | Hi I'm based in County Durham and have recently taken road cycling up again at the age of 48 after a 20 year break. I would really like to have a future event to 'aim for' (and to train for!) Does anyone know of any such event I could get involved in? I'm thinking early next ear would be ideal as it would give me a few months to get a few more miles under my belt. If anyone knows of a charity ride etc due to take place around the County Durham area in early 2013 then lease let me know. Cheers, Steve |
