Does anybody know of a good detailed route map or guide for the Wirral Way - Willaston - Wesk Kirby.

Planning a first time ride, not to sure about general directions..

I'm wandering if the route is straight forward enough to follow all the way ?

Some of the maps that I've found seem to be vague somewhat !

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
Once you are on the Wirral Way it is very easy to follow, there is only one place you could go wrong. After you pass the back of Neston cricket club, you need to turn right onto Station Road then pick up the trail again on the left after a few dozen yards. There are a couple of other places where the trail ends abruptly but if you simply go straight ahead you will pick it up again.

There is a visitors center at Thurstation which has lots of info and maps. However, the trail is really easy to follow all the way without much help.

Hello Paul, You don't need a map it is well signposted as most of it is on the old railway line & therefore an easy ride. Tea/coffee @ Neston,Parkgate & at end West Kirby.Enjoy it. Dave P

Recently discovered the Wirral Circular Trail, 37 miles, relatively well signposted, great combo of on and off road - well worth it
