Cycle clubs in/ near Southport

Joined: 14 Aug 2012 Posts: 6 Bike: | Hi, I live in Southport and have taken up cycling after a major op to try and get fit again. I wanted to know if there are any local clubs for beginners/enthusiasts. I will not return to work for 2-3 more weeks , so if there is anyone in the area who I could join for daily short bike rides etc, that would also be of interest I recently Completed the 50 mile “Ride of the Roses†charity event for Clatterbridge on 16th September. (we raised £ 710) This was after a few weeks of cycling building up to the event!!!. I have a hybrid Cannondale quick 3. Also new to this forum, Cheers Jim |
