This is a lightweight, low-profile design, super wide link, rear derailleur that tucks into the dropout area to escape contact with rocks and branches.
It has an integrated skid plate for protection, a top-normal derailleur spring with 10% more tension than the XT / XTR Shadow version, and a revised pulley cage spring for more control of the cage movement.
It also has a mode converter that allows it to track different type of cogsets, with a close rationDH mode to track up to a 23T-28T low gear and an AM mode for a wider ratio cogset with a 32T – 34T low gear.
