This is a lightweight, clincher, road wheelset, developed as an all-purpose set ideal for uphill climbing, that is quick in changing pace.
The set has a light and very steerable front wheel and a stiff and responsive rear wheel, both of which are dynamically balanced. They have differentiated front - rear rims, Both rims have a top bridge that is free of holes, eliminating the need for rim tape, and giving the wheels greater torsional stiffness and greater vertical elasticity.
They have butted, Ultra Aero Aluminium spokes, with a radial pattern on the front wheel and G3 spoking on the rear.
The oversize hubs are in Aluminium, with Aluminium axles and self-aligning bearings, while the rear hub has a larger flange to increase torsional stiffness and performance during acceleration. The Monolithic freewheel body and pawl carrier housed are a single aluminium part for maximum lightness, while the clamping levers are cold-forged Aluminium with two pivots.
The standardised front and rear cup and cone bearings are 5/32", 4x15 balls in Grade 10 stainless steel.
These are available in Black and Silver and the front wheel weighs 634g while the rear is 848g.
