Cycle Steps
Start in Wirksworth market place and head up hill past the Black's Head pub.

After 400 yds take right hand fork

Continue up hill to t-junction, turn right then immediately left after 50yds

Follow road all the way to next t-junction

Turn left towards Brassington

Continue through Brassington until next t-junction on Wirksworth-Ashbourne road

Turn right and follow road to Knockerdown pub

Turn left after pub and head towards Hulland Ward past Carsington Reservoir.

Turn left at Hulland and follow A517 all the way to Belper.

At traffic lights in Belper turn left onto A6

Follow A6 to Whatstandwell bridge (next to Derwent Arms)

After crossing bridge turn left and take the right hand fork of the road.

Follow this road all the way to the top of Wirksworth

At the Malt Shovel pub keep on the road and follow it back down the hill,

Go over the railway bridge at the bottom of the hill and follow the road back into Wirksworth Market place.
