| Starting at the Dog & Partridge pub in Union Street, Whitworth, this is quite a tough route, depending which way round you go. About 2 miles on-road riding, mixed up with some grassy trails and hardpack. A good scenic run out, with some tough climbs up Brown Wardle and Middle Hill with a couple of lengthy descents into Walsden and Watergrove Reservoir. Easiest route is up Whitworth Rake and follow path to drop into Walsden. All route is road marked or bridleway signposted. |
