| Nearly exact 20 mile circuit round the west of Cardiff with a few hills and as many rural roads as possible. The busietst stretch of the road is the section from Radyr to Llandaff but the road is wide here so cars should be able to give you a wide berth. Once in Cardiff the route sticks to the Taff Trail to minimise exposure to traffic and returns to Penarth via the new Pont Y Werin bridge. The final stretch through Cogan includes a steep hill climb to test what's left in your legs. A nice weekend ride. |
