| A nice 12 mile round trip with a stop off in Welwyn Garden City town to refuel after if necessary. The route includes 3.5 miles of nice flat disused railway track. At the start point, there's normally somewhere unlined to park. There are a couple of fences/gates to negotiated but the route is reasonably well signposted. This is a great family ride route - perfect for a Sunday afternoon. Coming back past Ayot St Lawrence, there are plenty of possible places to stop for a picnic and if you get the right season - lots of blackberries This route was added from a GPX file.
