Cycle Steps
Ideal as both a training route for roadies or a slower weekend ride for touring bikes.

Starting from Headingley, this route takes the best country roads out to Pool, then onto Leathley and across Sandwith Moor.

*There are many narrow, winding roads to explore in this area through hamlets and forest.*

A climb to Stainburn Forest, before a very fast descent, with sweeping corners, to Lindley Wood Reservoir. Back to Otley, then a long but gradual climb up past Chevin country park. Finally rolling back to Leeds via Cookridge and the Otley Road.

3 good climbs in total, on good roads with great views of Wharfedale and the surrounding areas.
