| My regular commute. I'm a timid cyclist but this route feels pretty safe. Depart 6.45am return 5pm about 45-55mins Very quiet in the morning. 2 steep hills at Spring Hill and Wharton St but on quiet streets. The rest of the route has gentle inclines. Busy crossing A10 in the evening. All junctions easy to cross or supported by lights. No heavy lorries but bendy buses around the A10. Lots of beautiful houses on quiet streets around Barnsbury. Torrington & Tavistock Place have clear cycle lanes. |
