This is a mixed route of roads and paved and spacious cycle path.
It starts on the B9037, crosses to the A994 through Cairneyhill, then turns off left onto Pidinnie Road, which is a quiet farm road. Along this road you again turn left, entering the cyle path. Follow this to Devilla Forest and then turn back towards Pitdinnie Road and back to the start point.
