| This ride would rate Peter's difficulty level in summer when the tow paths are nice and dry. But I just did the round trip, plus a ride of about 2.5 miles to and from my house to the start of the path. There are a lot of paved sections which makes the going a lot easier. But between Eccles (the actual starting point) and Leigh there is a lot of mud to make things interesting. First thing I am going to do before trying this ride again is to replace my worn MTB rubber for some mud knobblies | ||
