This route uses as many B-roads and country lanes as possible.
From the railway station you head for the A264 and follow this west out of Tunbridge Wells. Veer left onto the B2110 and head through Groombridge into East Sussex and on to Forest Row. Then take Priory Road and head towards West Sussex and Ardingly via West Hoathly. At Ardingly head South on the B2028 towards Lindfield. Then take the B2111 out of Lindfield and after a right - left jink on the A272 head through Wivelsfield to Ditchling. Then take Beacon Road and head over the beacon and into Brighton.
