Cycle Steps
This is a fairly easy, mixed route, on roads, riverside pathways and canal towpaths.
Starting in Torrence you head out on the Campsie Road, B822, through Carlston and on towards Lennoxtown. Just prior to reaching the A891 at Lennoxtown, you come to a bridge over the river. Before you cross this, turn right onto the path beside river. Follow the riverside pathway through Milton of Campsie and all the way, as it bends to the right, . At this point you will come to a footbridge over the river. Just before the footbridge there is a path to the right. Follow this past the industrial units to the junction at Milton Road, B757. Turn left and follow the road into the bottom of Eastside in Kirkintilloch. Turn left and follow the signs to the canal path. Turn right onto the canal path and follow this until you go under the Torrance Bridge, A807. At the car park area follow the path to the right and then turn left onto the A807. Follow this up to the roundabout and turn right onto the B822 back into Main Street.
