| I did it in the opposite direction, so starting from Tonbridge, heading through Hildenborough and towards Underriver, when approaching the hamlet, that is when the climbing starts, worst climb is Carter's Hill between Underriver and Godden Green of a climb upwards not far off 100m in altitude, just this little section is not for amateurs. The rest of the bike ride up to Shipbourne is long ups and downs which are not so testing, but on the return to Tonbridge, you can be sure to pick up good speed!! I managed it in 1h20mins. Would recommend it to any intermediate cyclist! | ||
