| Take the A690 out of Sunderland towards Durham picking up the A177 through Spennymoor, Coundon and West Auckland. Ride the A688 to Staindrop then on B6274 to Richmond. Have a good meal, you'll need it. Take the A6108 from Richmond into the Dales at Leyburn ride the A684 along the winding, undulating route to Hawes. Take the B6255 up over the tops through Chapel Le Dale to Ingleton and then on the A65 through Gargrave to Skipton. Total planned route 120 mile. |
