| A great commuting route, combining Richmond Park with fast sections into the City (i.e. Embankment). The only places that you've really got to look out for traffic is from Putney Bridge, up along new Kings Road and onto the Embankment. The rest of the route is fairly clear. I ride it between 7 and 8am so traffic is quite light - I don't know what it would be like later on in the morning. The reverse journey is almost identical, although I drop down behind Waterloo Train Station from the city, getting back onto the river at Lambeth Bridge. |
