Start point from Southbourne station and heads north east up and over the South Downs. It is possible to start from Chichester and retrace your steps back to Southbourne station if you wish to extend the ride.
The beginning of the route follows typical quiet winding country roads through some of the most beautiful villages of East Sussex. Lovely stop off at Stoughton Down Forestry Commission woodland which is not to be missed, situated north of Stoughton village.
The end of the route into Petersfield leaves the country roads for B-roads and heads directly into the market town following the signs towards the station. |
